I read an unfavorable review and completely disagree. If you enjoy Olympics history or followed 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics, this museum is worth the visit. Located next door to the ice rink where the 'Miracle on Ice' occurred, and just inside from the outdoor speed skating rink where Eric Heiden earned 5 gold medals, the museum is surrounded by history. Inside, you will find everything the drones the Olympics and Lake Placid. You will be surprised by what you find. Don't be afraid to ask questions because the staff knows their stuff. Very entertaining and a bit educational. Touch history. Worth every penny!
Kind of small and very homegrown. Great for real Olympic fans.
Great to see the bobsled/luge tracks. Guide was very knowledgeable about the sports.
Enjoyed the history of the Olympics. What a historic place
Cool place to check out. The museum is a bit small, but it's a must see if in the area. Cheap af also.
