Beautiful trails to hike in gorgeous Adirondack Mountains. Strenuous hiking is a challenge but the network of trails is very high quality. People travel quite far to come here. Be very prepared, including warm clothes, supplies, and water.
Very nice. Been coming here every year for the past few years. Don't even need a tent because there's so many lean tos.
I've done several peaks now and I love the high peaks. I will be going to this region for years to come. Many trails are not for novice hikers though. You need to be in fair shape, with decent gear for some areas. There are day hike options available as well for beginners.
Best place to go hiking anywhere in MY join the 46er's! Amazing views and always a good time rain snow or shine. Make sure to travel prepared for any type of weather.
