I understand the place may be small, but it has empty boxes stacked everywhere; just doesn't seem clean.

Two stars for the view of Mirror Lake on its balcony...good luck getting a seat though, space is at a premium.
A surprising hole in the wall with solid coffee and good food made a morning walk through Lake Placid that much better. The view of Mirror Lake was a great pairing and the owner was kind and gave us some good pointers on the area we hadn't learned before.
There are better choices in town for a nice cup of coffee.
