I be oke down on 87S between Ex 30 & 29. It took them a bit to arrive on the scene, due to distance from their shop. New battery was ~$150.00, delivery and install for the job was ~$215.00. Very fair pricing for being in such need. I've never received service like this for such a reasonable price. Highly recommended, and Thank you Central Garage for helping us complete our trip!!

I've been to Central Garage 2x while traveling through Lake Placid. This shop is unlike any other I have been to! Jay is very thorough, honest, quick, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I only wish this shop was closer to home!
Nice guys, but I was not happy with the service. I brought in my car, which I have had for about ten years, with a battery charging issue. I know the car well and told the mechanic what the likely issue was (failing alternator). They kept it for two days and came up empty. I made it home, took it to my mechanic and he confirmed my suspicion. Seems like this basic problem should have been easy to sort out in two days. Try another place while in Placid.
Very fast and friendly guys I was in a time crunch to get my car back on the road to get back home for work. Jay and his staff have taken good care of me and my car and highly recommend them if you are in need of anything in the lake placid area.
