Small but cozy. Kind of close to the road but there is a tree barrier. Olympic training center and trails right around the corner. My morning runs were awesome into the complex and actually ran the Olympic cross country ski course and into the stadium area. Cascade lake/falls and Lake Placid is 10min away.
Great location for an outdoor event (I attended a wedding reception here). On a clear day there were mountain views and great stars. In June the meadow behind the cabins was full of flowers. Cabins looked small but functional, I didn't stay in them. Bug repellent recommended in the summer, but the wind was often strong enough to keep them off.

The cabins don't have AC. For high peak hikers hitting the trails in the summer, you probably want AC. For cross country skiing, it's ideal! Trail access is right next door. The cabins are heated. It'd probably be really cozy to warm up in those cute little cabins after a winter adventure.
The cutest little rustic cabins! My husband & I stayed here with our dog while we were doing some day hikes in the high peaks & our cabin was the perfect place to come back to at the end of a long day. Clean & cozy -- with a well-equipped efficiency kitchen, plenty of hot water, & a comfortable bed! We'd love to stay here again in the future.
