Great crew and great prices. The guys are Captain Marneys were excellent to deal with. Went there several times during our week in Lake Placid.
Disorganized... but that’s to be expected as it’s run by children.
There was a problem with our reservation and the staff quickly resolved the issue and everyone was happy. My family and friends had a blast and I would highly, highly recommend going here to rent a boat. I would go back again. Very accomadating and very nice.
We rented a single kayak and a stand up paddle board for 2 hours and 60 dollars. The price is a bit steep, but there was no hassle at all. Fast and good service.
I looked at just about all the boat places in lake placid but none really seemed to have all the information. Some where missing rates, images of boats, address, etc. This place seemed to be the most solid outa the bunch so I gave it a call. There was no reservations needed I just hopped a boat within 20 minutes of arrival. All the needed info about driving was giving plus there was a pretty cute dog that hopped in the boat while he toured the equipment. Overall the price wasn't too bad, I'd really recommend 2 hours on the lake. He says going slow around the perimeter takes about an hour so the extra hour was nice to jump out and swim as well as check out the lakeside houses. I'd really recommend taking a trip if the weather is nice!
