I'll start with the good part - the wait staff was friendly and genuinely apologetic, but its hard to find anything good to say about everything else. Without going in to painful details, the food was mediocre, the cleanliness was poor and the time to get our food was ridiculously long. I regret giving this place a try - never a great idea to an ethnic restaurant that owned and operated from someone who is not from that ethnicity. I would recommend going to price chopper and cooking your own dinner before going to Mis Amigos in Lake Placid...
Amazing food and service! We've been travelling for a week throughout the US with a 2 and 4 year old- pure crazyness but had our best meal and service here. Colouring books, fantastic drinks, food, dessert and service. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks for the great evening!
We were there on a motorcycle trip..stopped in late after the restaurant was finished serving. The owners came out and invited us to stay and we did. They sat with us for several hours enjoying drinks, appetisers and telling stories. They were very welcoming and the food was awesome! We truly enjoyed our stay. Don't let the hotel above take away from the restaurant. They are not associated. They are very passionate about customer service, eye for detail and the quality of their food. We would highly recommend!
Super fresh, super delicious! The manager(?), Steve, was more than helpful and welcoming, and touched our table more than once. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. A must when you are in the mood for fresh Mexican cuisine.
It was average. Entrees were fine wouldn't write home. Queso was a waste of money. I did like the selection of 4 hot sauces.
