We had dinner but did not stay at the Lodge. The public areas are beautifully appointed in the Adirondack style. The Lodge is situated on the edge of the lake of Lake Placid with a breath-taking view of Whiteface Mountain. Dinner was very good and the service was attentive but at $100 per person for a five course meal without wine, I can't say that I was impressed. Make it a point to visit the Lake Placid to look around and soak up the view then eat at one of the many restaurants in Lake Placid village at a fraction of the cost.
The service was great. The room was spotless. The attention to detail in the property is awesome.
We were married there in September of 2015 and stop by every summer and fall. The best of the best food, drinks, service and staff. The best views on Lake Placid and more wonderful memories to be made!!
Beautiful lodge, wonderful people. They pay attention to the details here and it shows in the service you receive. A wonderfully relaxing place to rejuvenate body and mind.
One of a kind. If it's in your budget and you wanna relax, this is your place. Do not expect to watch tv, but a personal fireplace and a bonfire every night...even asked if you want Smores or a drink during the awesome fire. You are on the lake and I have never heard anyone complain about the amazing food and staff.
