Took 20 minutes for the waitress to come over and ask if we wanted water. The pasta was tasteless and significantly overpriced. Very slow service. Might I add, the restaurant was 75% empty.
Food was fresh, hot and to our ordered likings. I would recommend this place to the usual Adirondack fare..
For an Italian restaurant, Italian Bread was soft and tasteless. Calamari was rubbery. Pizza was average. Nice atmosphere. Probably won't be back.
Food is amazing and the owner of Nicola's truly makes you feel like family highly recommend a must go if your staying in Lake Placid
Absolutely terrible food. Im assuming it was an off night, but 3 of our 10 entrees were inedible. The rest were tolerated. Great staff decent service, but wow....food was not even close. Sorry.
