I would love to know what makes a burrito worth $17??? Anyone? It's certainly not because it's super flavorful.
I have traveled all over the country and eat Mexican everywhere I go, and this place is by far the worst bang for your buck and tastebuds.
Always the best food and service. Whenever we are in Lake Placid, it's the only place we go. This trip I was slightly disappointed because they had no Dos Equis Lager on tap or in the bottle. They said it's coming back soon.
The loaded nachos at $11.50 literally had 21 chips on the plate, and the edges of all of them were burned, like charred.
I wish I could give this place rave reviews since I spent more than $100 both times I went, but alas I cannot.
Skip this place and go literally anywhere else in town, there's a reason when every other restaurant has a wait that this place does not...
Our service was so inattentive that we would sit for 10-15 minutes without drinks before our waiter would come and check on us and believe me the drinks were the only part of the visit that were making it tolerable to be there.
Top notch Tequila and Mezcal selection. Food is always on point, and we never leave hungry. Our "must stop" whenever we stay in Placid.
I had to pick a star to write a review. There isn’t much to write besides this was the absolute worst food i have ever had. I’m not sure where the good reviews are coming from but my experience with this restaurant was horrible horrible horrible. Okay.. why? My quesadilla was wrapped in not a tortilla first off, second chicken was definitely from a can, third cheese was not melted, fourth the spinach in it wasn’t even cooked and was more like a bag of uncooked spinach on top of my “quesadilla” and fifth it was beyond cold.
The food is absolutely awful. The prices are outrageous. Save yourself the trouble. You'd be better off at Taco Bell and you'd leave Taco Bell with some money left in your pocket. A complete joke of a menu.
