Great beer and wings! We always have awesome waitress/waiters despite the hostess attitude. They never answer the phone and do not take reservations ahead of time. Put your name in at least 1 hour ahead of time for dinner!
Absolutely loved the food. Huge servings of the Brisket tips that I ordered. However we got there late and they had run out of a lot of items so get there early if you want to sample everything. They ran out before they could complete my order so the manager/owner personally came to recommend another dish and provided it on the house. Great staff in general.
So good! This is our dinner spot in Placid. We were so disappointed with other restaurants in Lake Placid, but Smoke Signals definitely does NOT disappoint. Make sure you come early to avoid the dinner rush! The view of the lake is fantastic and so is the food.
We shared the BBQ for two : ribs, brisket and pulled pork. We chose garlic mashed and greens as sides and oh yes the delicious corn bread! It was $39.99 and well worth it! Atmosphere was clean warm and if you sat in the back in dining room you were on the lake. Five stars for my experience!
Best BBQ ever, and love the atmosphere too! We're from North Carolina and came back here 3 times during our Lake Placid vacation. Amazing brisket, perfect pulled pork, and tasty ribs. Brisket stew was also delicious.
