Service was fine. Beer was awesome. But $13.00 for 4 shrimp as part of the shrimp cocktail??? Stop in for a beer but don't bother wasting your money on the food. Also they ran out of bread for their spinach dip so we had extra crackers
Friendly staff and great food. We were traveling with our dogs and were looking for a dog friendly place to eat and this is it! We ate on the terrace and even our pups were served a nice bowl of water. I will return to this place when I'm in the area and recommend it to anyone going to Lake Placid.
Our first time in lake placid and decided to go here. We first ordered the autumn salad, which was yummy. (Side note- the menu said candied pecans in the salad but we received regular walnuts in it, this should be disclosed when ordering in case of an allergy). The bread was hard on the ends and seemed stale. He ordered the prime rib, which was tender and very tasty in some bites but had a weird taste in other parts of it. I ordered the seafood wellington, which I was very disappointed in from a place like this. The seafood in it was not good, it had a gummy texture and a frozen taste and it was just sort of thrown into a cut-in-half pastry. We ordered the s'mores tart for dessert, which was very good. I cannot say whether I would come here again or not because we didn't order everything, but I probably wouldn't bother and would go somewhere else.
One of the best restaurants in the area. Good variety of food, all done nicely. Very good quality for the cost. If you are a beer lover, you'll like the wide array of their own brews. If not, try their root beer! This place is a great choice for a nicer dinner.
Great beer! Like really really great beer. Grab a pint and a bite to eat, then when you are heading back to your lodging for the night grab a growler for a night cap.
